Team Zebra

Not the greatest quality, I know, but I needed something quick and fun to work on to settle my nerves today, and this show really fit the bill The zebras may always fall into the "please don't make me shade this" category, I fear. Now I'm regretting not leasing one of Tsonian Fields' albino zebras to pair with Six, I might have to try that in the future.

Really ignore everything about the tack and cart. Driving two horses with a two wheeled cart is likely a bad idea, forgetting their blinkers is inadvisable, driving more than one horse without a navigator is not a great idea and switching out your horses for zebras and zebroids is chancy at best. Doing all of these things together is probably somewhat disastrous, but we'll deal with that when we come to it.

Six, being a zebra, is naturally pretty skittish when it comes to new places. Or new people. Or new horses. We put her through our bombproofing course which helped a lot, but her fear of new horses (they're all taller than she is, after all) is a bit hard for her to overcome and a bit trying at shows.

Forte is not skittish. In fact, he is pretty bold. Unfortunately, he is quite stubborn. He is occasionally prone to moodyness, and when Six is nervous he is unhappy. When he is unhappy, he doesn't pull with the team.

Jack's been trying every trick he can think of all morning to settle down Six and appease Forte. Between the lullabies and the ear rubs he's got them about as settled as is possible for the naturally skittish critters. We're hoping Forte will lead the way and Six will fall into place. This show is really just experience for them, and a chance for Jack to teach people about zebras and zedonks which he is always happy to do.
