-History-
Malik was born to a schoolteacher and a deep sea fisherman along the Alaskan coast. Despite his father's wishes he simply wasn't cut out for the harsh life of a commerical fisherman and left home when he finished school. With his savings he purchased a young Tokota and trained him until they were competant enough to join the Misae Tribe as recruits in hopes of some day becoming a ranger.

Malik is ethnically Métis (culturally distinct mixed race of First Nations and European heritage)
Very scrawny; great stamina but poor strength.
Was raised with the idea that magic and magical creatures exist but hadn't experienced this firsthand.
Wears various cloths depending on the weather but is partial to dark reds, dark blues, plaid, tans, and heavy boots. Goes for practicality over fashion.
